Cannot recommend enough! I was told by another company to bring my car to AAMCO because of a car shudder. Dropped my car off and few hours later was told what the issue may be— free of charge. While it wasn’t a transmission problem, he did point me in the direction it could be. If not, he would be happy to work on it. I appreciated the transparency and not just doing work on it for the sake of it. Overall, great service.

After a lengthy vetting process of other transmission repair options I decided to go with AAMCO to rebuild my damaged Subaru which is a 5 speed manual. The job was completed ahead of the estimated time and hit the cost estimate range which was nice on a bigger job like this. The communication throughout the entire process was excellent with the team reaching out as they uncovered the problem, ordered the parts needed and completed my repair. I’m happy I decided to go with a trusted service that offers a warranty on the work completed, 100% would recommend if you find yourself needing a transmission rebuild.

These guys are amazing. They replaced our transmission under an extended warranty and the factory rebuilt transmission was faulty. Pete and his crew put in another transmission and we are back on the road. Incredible service and talented crew over there. Very grateful for their work. We will be using them for any transmission issues going forward.

Wonderful Service. We had our food truck not shifting out of first gear. We had two events booked and were really worried. AAMCO made time for us and in an hour we were back on the road. Not only that but their integrity shined by letting me know it was only a .25 cent fuse. There are garages out there that would tell you the flux capacitor was bad and its thousands to fix. We could not be happier. This is the type honest hard working business we should be supporting. I am a customer for life. Are there 10 stars?

Pete and crew were on point. transmission blew they got me in and diagnosed that day. A few days later, the new transmission arrived and was installed. Timely, honest, and pricing were as it should be. Would definitely use them again.

Absolutely the best service I’ve experienced outside of my pops. Very kind and patient as I tried to explain car issues through made up words and sounds. I knew what was wrong the very next day and it was back to me the day after that. The price was very reasonable and fair. AAMCO will be my first call for any car needs/advice in the future.
 
Oh, and on top of the amazing customer service, quick repair, and good price, they noticed I left my sunglasses in their waiting area and had them waiting on me when I returned.

I've never been a car guy & haven't had the best of experiences dealing with mechanics in all my many years running my transportation company until I came across Pete at AAMCO. One of the most honest and trustworthy mechanics that I've had the privilege of coming across. Pete has been a Godsend, a decent human being, very knowledgeable with helpful expertise in just about anything that has to do with vehicles. Pete's transmission shop is by far the BEST repair shop I ever had repair work done at. He did a fantastic transmission replacement on my Honda CR-V. It runs like brand new! He has the greatest integrity and honesty a car owner could ever ask for. He stands behind his work. There's NO better place than Pete's to get your transmission work done -- period, end of story!

These guys are great. I've been taking my family cars here for a number of years and always get great service. Friendly, honest, no BS, prompt & priced fairly....and, most importantly, they do good work. I trust that the work gets done right and have never had a call back. I have come to trust their car advice and my 100,000 mile great-running Tacoma is proof. I like using small business enterprises where the owner is often also the operator. You get a personal level of service that you can't always get elsewhere.

Brought my car in with a transmission problem. I got a free estimate based on the symptoms. They were very knowledgeable and informative in explaining the possible issues and costs. When they took the transmission apart it turned out to be a worst case scenario. They worked with me to help make a decision on what to do based on the age and overall condition of my car. I never felt pressured and felt that they were honest and had my best interest as their priority. I decided to not get it fixed and they didn't charge me for their diagnostic work. It was a good experience. I would highly recommend Aamco.
